My main blog is about World of Warcraft its a blog about making gold in the game. I have large traffic burst and then the traffic will die down. This is because of lack of driving traffic to the blog.

Now if you are doing your blog strictly as fun and don't give a hoot about money opportunities then chances are you won't care about driving traffic much either. I guess it depends though.

I think some of the pros for blogging for fun is that in some cases you are not looking to impress someone, and don't care about money so your doing it as free will. If you transition into trying to make some money this can become stressful, so don't quit your day job. If someone told you, instant riches were waiting they lied.

A good blog is not just the content or traffic techniques. But also the blog itself. What is the blogging topic? Is it popular? Do you offer your readers anything? Welcome To My True View On Making Money Online

I am new to the whole work at home, job at home, cash at home type of genre so to speak. I am a very honest person, so really to this day I feel guilty for writing the blog which earned no cash anyways, other then adsense. My second blog was dedicated to World Of Warcraft, about gold farming, that blog got more views because of youtube and the fact I did try and sit down to make some videos. The other blogs did not last due to no motivation. I have another work from home blog somewhere, but I cannot remember the login so this will be the new blog. Although this is not about working from home. This is my journey to try and make some cash off of the Internet, which is a big thing now, as everyone seems to want a piece of the Internet cash pie.

The other option is google, problem with this option though is your going to get a lot of junk and it takes continuous research to get what you are looking for.

The best way of all though is going to forums with info on work at home. These forums have real people discussing how to work from home and answering questions to the newbies like us :)

Just sit and think of your niche and anything that comes to mind can be copied down, it doesn't matter if it sounds silly! If brainstorming is not your cup of tea then use forums in your niche or even google and research that way, find interesting topics to write about!

5) Taking A Day Off - The worse thing you can is become overwhelmed or stressed by trying to get your business off the ground. Do your self a favour and take 2 days off, one at least! Give your self some time to rest and relax before going back into work. I have had days where I would do 10 hours each day and then end up taking a week off because I felt like I had run myself into the ground with promoting and getting content on my pages. I try to work only 8 hours or less now unless I am really enjoying it then I keep working at it. You must think of your family and friends to though, its not good to be stuck inside all the time after all.

As you can see it doesn't take a huge amount of effort to be successful with your work habits, its about dedication and making sure you get the rest you need but lots of work done in the meantime.

To me those are some true and honest pros and cons. I don't know anyone who has made a living from just doing surveys. I know people who do it in their spare time to earn some extra cash.
